PowerPlant

An abandoned power station next to a dried-out sea sets the scene for an intense battleground where beacons are spread in an asymmetrical layout leading to different strategies for both teams. Pilots will have to learn to use cover effectively to rank high on this medium-sized map.

Two ridges on one side of the map leads to sniping opportunities while crowded buildings near several beacons mean fierce battle in the tightest of quarters. All bots and weapons can be effective on this map if you’re experienced enough to know how to use them properly.

Strategy

The “A” and “B” beacons are relatively close to each other and favor quicker bots and those who have a Jump ability to quickly elevate and deescalate level shifts from the platform to the beach. The “D, E and C” beacons favor heavy brawlers who can hit and move in and out of cover. Snipers love picking off enemies approaching these beacons so keep your head up when attacking.

Ambushes are effective in the tight spaces and missiles and rockets create havoc for both teams. The Death Button Griffin and Rhinos have legs up here as do Dash bots and Lancelots. Shocktrains are especially effective weapons on this map as they can cause heavy damage to groupings of Reds in covered positions. Those who have mastered the art of flanking (attacking from the side) can take advantage of fighting robots by blowing away enemies currently locked in a 1v1 battle.
