Valley

The Valley map was modeled after the stunning mountainous terrain of Vietnam. The developers drew inspiration from the famous Karst Limestone formations to create a gorgeous symmetrical valley perfect for combat and more specifically, the Beacon Rush game mode.

Released for the Beacon Rush update, the Valley features an abandoned facility in the middle of the map which provides great cover and a host of battle scenarios. This smaller map is considered one of the most well-balanced in the game, as there is ample opportunity for snipers to unload, close-quarter combat in the center and around the edges and those pesky homing-missiles users to do their thing from almost anywhere.

Heavy brawling usually takes place near the “C” Beacon in the center of the map which, in a lowered position, allows attacking or defensive bots to hang around the elevated areas surrounding it. There is a covered section near the beacon which is handy to rush into and away from incoming fire.

Beacons “A” and “E” are located in the corners of the map which dually serve as elevated sniping platforms. The Home spawn sites also has smaller raised platforms to snipe as well. Beacons “B” and “D” also see their fair share of action as they are located in an open plain with only a small raised platform separating them. Beacon cappers may want to snag a corner beacon and then sprint to the middle before ducking for cover under the facility.
