Game Description:

Unparalleled firepower, provided by 3 heavy weapon slots.

What if we didn’t describe the Fury at all and just played Drowning Pool’s “Let the Bodies Hit the Floor”? That would actually cover the bulk of what the Fury does – drop bodies. Loaded up with triple upgraded Trebuchets, the Fury is capable of finishing off units with full health in one blast right at the beginning of their round. Most semi-upgraded bots can survive at least one blast but are severely damaged. If the blast leaves you with the dreaded “legs damaged” icon up, well, you’re a sitting duck and might as well bail.

The ultimate “camper” bot, Fury can be lethal from the jump on open levels such as Springfield and Canyon. Reds will have two choices… live behind cover or cross their fingers and try to get to the next cover before going out. Triple Zeus are just as ferocious and lay enemies to waste at 600m. Tempests can rip enemies to shreds but at distance, usually a Red will run to cover before Fury can fire them up to accelerated mode. Slow speed negates the ability to follow. To defend a beacon, it doesn’t get better than the triple Thunder or Redeemer.

For all that performance, you’ll have to pay a considerable 5,000 Au but it’s all worth it. It’s the same price as a Lancelot which makes it a tough buy off the bat, but sniping at long ranges helps prolong your life in the game as a lower-tier player. Best practices include making sure you have cover handy as Fury is a big and slow target and targeting faster assault Reds first. Stalkers, Gepards, Jesse and Gareth can all circle a Fury and chip away at its health until it dies, so make sure you get those guys out of the way first.

Tridents are also a great weapon to use on the Fury. Splash damage used to be excellent to handle shielded bots such as Rhino, Lancelot and Galahad, but is lesser effective in the current War Robots’ meta due to the abundance of Energy and Ancile Shields. Triple Embers would cost a fortune but if you are lucky enough to have three, load them up and send us a picture! The amount of damage they would cause within their 350m range would be tremendous.
