Game Description:

Powerful and intimidating, Lancelot is truly a force to be reckoned with. Upon activating his Rush ability, Lancelot gains increased movement speed (+66%) for a short time (10 seconds). That as well as his great built-in protection against frontal attacks in the form of 3 physical shields makes him a perfect combatant for close-ranged battles.

The former “king of the mountain” of the War Robots’ roster, the Lancelot is a powerful and intimidating force on the battlefield. Still in use at the higher tiers and a bully at medium-lower tiers, Lancelot has been usurped by the powerful Dash trio as a premier bot in the game. When fitted with an Ancile, the Ancilot is a beacon defender and open-field brawler that makes use of a trio of front-fitted Physical Shields. Much like the Raijin and its heavy pair of shields, each of these three can be lost at any point during battle.

The Lancelot is a big, wide, chubby bot who has a snail-like top speed. When activated, its Rush ability sees a +66% increase in speed. A 20-second cooldown time is a bit maddening, especially when you are crawling across a larger map at a paltry 30 km/h. This makes for a stomach-clutching experience as Splash damage can seriously maim Lancelot. A single rocket has the potential for not only reducing overall health but damaging all three shields as well. Experienced pilots will recognize Lancelot’s vulnerability here and hug walls/cover whenever the threat of homing missiles or Splash rockets is around.

Lancelot is the heavy robot entry in the Knights’/British Armed Forces chain of GarethGalahad-Lancelot. Lancelot is named after one of King Arthur’s Knights’ of the Round Table, Sir Lancelot, as are all the Knights’ bots (Galahad and Gareth). It is also the only bot besides the Bulgasari with a built in and always active Physical Shield.
