The Cossack is the most beloved character on the War Robots roster. This speedy little bugger is one of the fastest units in the game, has a “Jet Drive” that can jump every five seconds and yet has the least health points. The little guy boasts a single medium-hardpoint perfect for an ECU for added life when bouncing from beacon-to-beacon or another powerful weapon to defend yourself with… although it usually just means prolonging your inevitable fate.

As one of only four bots with the Jump ability (including the Griffin, Rogatka and the Descend-ing Spectre and Inquisitor), it is the only light bot with this ability and can quickly evade sniper fire and sometimes get out of the range of the bigger, more powerful units. After the entry levels, the Cossack is more of a party piece than an effective bot in combat. Stalker, Gareth, Gepard and any of the Dash bots are the usual replacements for Cossack as they sacrifice a little speed for shields and added firepower.

If you intend on bringing the Cossack into battle, equip an Orkan or any of the medium Plasma weapons (Taran/Scourge/Shocktrain). Stay away from the Storm… at close quarters the Cossack won’t stay alive long for the Storm to be effective. Hit and run is the name of the game.
