Game Description:

Remains lethal to enemies even after taking significant damage. Is protected by a built-in energy shield. Able to rush for a limited time.

Built-in Energy Shield? Rush ability? TWO HEAVY HARDPOINTS? Yes, please! The Carnage is a medium-class monster on the battlefield capable of entering and exiting conflicts at pace. With two leveled-up Thunders, it can cause immense havoc at an enemies’ spawn point or in the center of maps such as Yamantau or Valley. Not to mention, Carnage with double Thunder is one of the cheapest and most powerful bots you can buy and hold on to the highest tiers.

The fact is that its usefulness has been downgraded as of late due to the proliferation of new Energy/Plasma weapons. New weapons such as Shocktrain and Scourge along with shotgun weapons like Storm and Gust, and projectile weapons like Tempest all either ignore or destroy Energy Shields with aplomb.

Regardless of all this, if piloted properly, a Carnage Zeus popping in and out of range and cover, absolutely rules medium-range exchanges. Thunders can see 3 or 4 enemies off before the Carnage runs out of HP. Ironic, as Carnage has the lowest straight up health points at max level of any medium-class bot. Even dual Trident Carnages have their appeal against Physical Shielded bots. Trebuchets are much rarer due to their reload time and preferred on the Fury in a triple setup. Dual Embers are expensive on a Carnage but deadly as it comes in close-range combat.

When piloting Carnage, make sure to avoid all Plasma/Energy weapons at all costs. Fujin Tarans? No thank you. Triple Trebuchet Fury? Please no, that’s half your health right there. Plasma Death Button Griffin? Wait until the Tarans are reloading until you make your move.

To buy a Carnage Thunder, you’ll need 5,670,840 Silver and 24 days in order to gather enough Workshop Points to get Carnage (using all 6 WSP slots).
