Game Description:

Heavy machine gun, most effective at short and medium range. The longer the distance, the lower the accuracy.

The Avenger is the heavy hardpoint and final piece of the PunisherPunisher T-Avenger chain of weapons. Like the light and medium hardpoint variants of the chain, Avenger features the Acceleration System: Rate of fire increases x1.5 after 3 seconds of continuous fire. This mode is disabled when firing stops for 1 second.  Optimal range is around 200m.

Of the Gatling Gun variety, Punisher features one cannon while Punisher T boasts two. Avenger, well, rocks 3 with aplomb. Mow down your enemies from distance while you close in, as effectiveness and accuracy improves the closer you get to your enemies. While range begins at 500m, you’ll need to be around 200m to reach peak performance. In addition, this weapon does double damage to Ancile/Energy shields can lay out loads of repressive fire sure to send the Reds running for cover.

According to War Robots, the Avenger takes its inspiration & name from the GAU-8 Avenger, a deadly 30mm Gatling autocannon with 7 barrels. Check out the namesake below:

MK2 Levels 1-12 cost the same in terms of time and currency. A 20% damage bonus is added per missile/plasma blast depending on the weapon along with “added durability.”
