Game Description:

Trident is a missile weapon. Superheavy medium-range weaponry. Large area of impact lets it damage opponents protected by ECU shield or a cover.

The Trident is a fan favorite and for a short time, a legendary heavy-hardpoint weapon in the War Robots world. Three shells packing more power than the Kang Dae and Nashorn, a 600m range and a 10-second reload time. What’s there not to love?

Well, now there are Shocktrains at medium-hardpoint which do more destructive damage and at heavy, Zeus and Tempest fests have emerged. Still effective though not a premier weapon, the Trident is a heavy rocket that deals significant damage to unshielded and physical shield-only bots. The prevalence of Ancile and Energy shields has also diminished the feisty Tri’s ego at higher tiers. It is still a favorite to blast Gareth and Galahad.

Wiki points out that in a successful shot, its 3 missiles fly in just over 3.66 seconds and deals 6,850 damage per missile at level 12, for a total barrage damage of 20,550 per salvo. Still not too shabby. Add in Splash damage and if used properly, can do real damage on the field. Novice and mid-tier pilots should absolutely consider adding in the Trident to their arsenal.

Experienced pilots use the corners of Dead City and Valley to extract maximum damage from their enemies, most of whom are hiding around corners and knife-fighting. It is a great way to pile up the damage points on preoccupied pilots.

According to Greek mythology, a Trident is Poseidon’s three-pointed spear. Get it? Three missiles, three points? I see what you did there Pixonic, well played.

The player needs 3,268,740 Silver and 14 days in order to gather enough WSP to buy a Trident (using all six WSP slots and no Gold to buy WSP). Thanks Wiki!
