OrkanOrkan

Game Description:

Short-range unguided rocket launcher. Rockets have a medium AOE (area of effect). Deal damage to a group of enemies as well as their physical shields or enemies taking cover. Automatic firing mode. Launch rockets precisely and separately or in long bursts. Smart Reload System. Weapon reloads to full capacity while firing as soon as one missile is expended.

Deadly in close quarters, the Orkan is the premier rocket weapon in War Robots. The medium-hardpoint weapons system deals punishing Splash damage and is effective at higher levels in tearing down Ancile shields and putting the hurt on shielded bots. Perfectly-timed use of Dash and Jump abilities are the only salvation when meeting an Orkan in tight spaces.

Costing a whopping 1,200 Gold, the 32-rocket pack can continuously fire even when the pilot has blown the full case. The Orkan has almost made the Lancelot sans Ancile and Rhino redundant. It is the perfect match for Pinatas and at distances of 300m or closer, can take out entire robots from full health in the dreaded Death Button configuration (dual Orkans, dual Pinatas) on Rhinos and Griffins. Triple Orkans placed on Dash bots are bested only by Shocktrain in execution. Loading Orkans on an Ancilot (Lancelot plus Ancile) is a popular option for higher-level players.

At higher levels, pilots will master the art of firing half or a third your clip at damaged units to save rockets for the next opponent. The Tulumbas is a similar weapon for medium hardpoints, however they sacrifice the raw damage of the Orkan for added range.

According to Wiki and the German language, Orkan translates to hurricane or storm in German. It may also be named after the Yugoslavian M-87 Orkan rocket launcher.
