Game Description:

Launches an energy arc that deals damage to several enemies. It jumps from one target to the next, but the damage is reduced with each new target. Very effective against groups of enemies. Ignores energy shields. Requires target lock to fire. Charging. Unleashes all charges at once when pulling the trigger. Damage depends on the number of charges. Energy damage. Bypasses energy shields entirely. Lock-on. Does not require manual aiming but takes some time to lock onto the enemy (3s).

The ringer. The undisputed champ. The Shocktrain! Released with the Dash bot update, the medium-hardpoint Shocktrain is the ultimate weapon in War Robots able to due serious damage to a target bot and bots around it. Experienced pilots release the maximum of five charges upon an enemy unit dealing serious damage (Trebuchet-style), especially if they are used in tandem. It is rare to see a Dash with triple Shocktrain do less than 700K damage in a single outing.

Shocktrain is the only weapon in the game that will see its energy blast pass from one enemy to another – with a range from bot-to-bot of 150m dealing 50% less damage at a time. One perfectly-timed blast from this weapon can seriously weaken, if not take out, multiple units at once. Target lock also ensures that your charged up blast meets its mark.

To break it down concisely: The Shocktrain on a triple Dash/Fujin mount can deliver over 45,000 damage per burst, use target lock to hit its target, and reload shockingly (pun intended) fast. Average DPM at level 12 for just one of these weapons? About 116,250. Whoa.

A final note: this weapon works on all units with medium hardpoints. The Doc, as Wiki points out, has a Quick Draw reload time of 10 seconds, longer than the weapon’s 8 second reload time, so it isn’t an optimal build. In addition, we’ve sourced the Shocktrain to Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, and the T-X arm cannon! (H/T Fabrice Isabelle Feynow!)

MK2 Levels 1-12 cost the same in terms of time and currency. A 20% damage bonus is added per missile/plasma blast depending on the weapon along with “added durability.”

Recommended Weapon Setups: Every robot with medium-hardpoint slots! Especially useful on beacon-capping Rogatka, Triple Fujin, Haechi, Bulgasari, Kumiho.
